Spotless park, from the grounds to the bathrooms. Great views and close to town as well. The only reason for a 9 and not a 10 is how close the sites are together. My awing in within 12" of my neighbors MH awing. Not an ideal situation if you have someone difficult next door. Otherwise as reviews state below, a great place to stay with very nice staff.
Typical in-town RV Park, but great place if you are doing Graceland. I agree with last post. Note: Web site directions tell you to get in right lane thru three traffic lights. Stay in center lane ( of the three ) as the right lane runs out after 3rd light, otherwise directions are very good. Also, they run a free shuttle to Beale Street every evening from 6-11 PM from the hotel on the park grounds.
Typical COE Park with paved roads and sites. Easy in/out with our 30' Fifth Wheel. Please note: City is working on roads into park, running new water/sewer and getting around one-way construction areas is a tight squeeze, negotiable, but be prepared to go slow. Also as of 5/13/09, all low lying waterfront sites ( about 1/3 of all sites ) are flooded due to heavy rain this spring.
Good clean campground with lots of things to do for the kids. Close to lots of shopping as well. If you are pulling a fiver, my recommendation is to enter from the west and not the east. The entrance road turns back on itself from the east and pitches down quickly and will pinch the truck if not REAL careful. Coming in from the west solves most of this issue. I would camp KOA more often, but the price is way to high at $43 per night in West Virginia.
The good part of this campground is it is easy off/on from I-64 and easy to find. Plenty of services local and a Subway sub shop in walking distance. The sites are level and easy to swing with a 30 foot plus fiver. The bad side is it is in need of some clean up and TLC. Truck stop along one side provides an ample amount of noise, so be prepared to run fans at night. A/C is touch and go as power dropped to 105 volts in the evening when the permanents got home. Several rusted out, broken down "junk" campers on site which gives you the creepy feeling. Bath house is in poor condition, but functional. In short, if you need a stop on I-64 in the area, it will work fine ( better than boondocking at Wal-mart ). But beware of the water, power and facilities.
Well marked, easy access from I30 Westbound from Little Rock. Paved interior roads, gravel sites, terrific views! Very nice clubhouse, with home baked treats. Very friendly and helpful staff. Designed and built to be "big rig friendly", even back-in sites are easy to access. You can always tell a campground, designed and built by campers. This is on our A list. Rig is 32'.
